My professional career in photography began six years ago in Dallas, Texas. I started out focusing on families and couples but quickly found a love for the craft and beauty of wedding photography. The last three years I have gone all in on serving wedding clients and I am so excited about the growth Jared Howell Photography has seen. I am grateful for the clients who have entrusted me to tell their story. My style is easy going and some have even accused me of being goofy!
Let me share a few more details about myself and my family so you can get to know me better. I am husband to Sarah and we have three beautiful children We now live just outside of Cleveland, Ohio after having spent the last six years in Dallas, TX - where it was hotter than hot!
I love traveling, coffee, guitars, and books. Grand Tetons National Park is the best place on the planet. Favorite shows are The Office and Friends. My favorite cuisine is Texas style barbecue (love me some smoked brisket.) I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and all I do is for the people I love most!

Hi, I'm Jared
After spending six years in Dallas, TX, (where my professional photography journey began) in 2021 we decided it was time to once again make Ohio our home (it was always home).
For me, doing photography just makes sense. I really come alive when I am behind the camera and know I was born to do this. I have been taking photos professionally for more than five years and have loved every moment. I started off doing family, couples, and lifestyle photography but that quickly evolved to capturing weddings as the inquiries naturally started pouring in.
I know that searching for a wedding photographer is more than just seeking a vendor to check off your list. You want your photos captured beautifully so that you can share these memories with your loved ones for generations to come. You want someone reliable and easy to communicate with. On your wedding day I will be your advocate, ensuring every moment is captured with care. I really hope to get to be your wedding photographer!

I am husband to my amazing wife, Sarah. We have been married for almost eleven years (wow!) and I have loved every moment. We have three beautiful children, Addie (4), Judah (2.5), and Andrew (8 months).
I love spending time with them doing all the normal things a family of five does! We enjoy going on walks, taking vacations to the beach, grabbing Mitchell's Ice Cream on a Friday night. Anything with them is my favorite.

Mountains. The ocean. Valleys. Small towns. I love it all.
Most notable trips in my life include road tripping out west to Jackson Hole, WY and exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I also have a special place in my heart for Sedona, Arizona where Sarah and I hiked a total of eleven miles for a breathtaking view from Wilson Mountain.
Other notable favorites are Australia, Peru, and the Florida Keys.

Visiting unique coffee shops is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I have visited many amazing coffee shops all throughout the country, but I think some of the best coffee shops can be found here in THE LAND.
Here are some of my favs! In Oberlin I really enjoy Local Coffee & Tea and The Slow Train. In Cleveland definitely Rising Star and Ready Set Coffee Roasters. And closer to where I live near Avon, Black Key Coffee is really good too. Recently me and my wife discovered Heartwood Coffee Roasters in Chagrin Falls and it did not disappoint!
If you have a coffee shop I need to try, please tell me about it!

On a day off you might find me reading, watching the latest movies or shows, or playing some tasty licks on my guitar.
Other hobbies include: historical podcasts, smoking or grilling delicious meat, and I have also tried my hand at brewing my own beer. It turned out much better than expected!
